Bro. Kevin Bethea

Administrative & Ministerial Leader

The Administrative & Ministerial Ministry is responsible for developing and maintaining the office records, supplies and tracking system. This includes receiving, purchasing and distributing all pertinent church supplies and invoices received on a daily basis. The administration area is responsible for monitoring and maintaining all office equipment including the computer lab. This area is also the focal point for communication throughout the congregation.

The Administrative & Ministerial Ministry handles the following areas:​​ Announcements, Bulletins, Bulletin Boards, Communication, Church Historian, Congregation Website Information, Funeral Coordination, Office Manager, Equipment & Supplies, Tracts & Literature, Wedding Coordination, and Special Ceremonies Coordination​​.

Bible Education Ministry Leader

The Biblical Education Ministry is one of our largest ministries in the congregation. This ministry is responsible for putting together a congregational wide program and curriculum for the Bible school department. This structure has the capability of measuring the academic progress and growth of both teachers and students. A system of rotation of teachers and advancing of students to the next level has been established. There is also a process for grouping appropriate students were necessary. It is the goal of the education ministry to equip each member with the understanding of the Bible that they may live a godly, peaceable, spiritual Christian life.

The Biblical Education Ministry handles the following areas:​​ Adult Class I & II, Sunday School, Mid-Week Class, Special Classes, Library, VBS, Men’s Bible Class, Ladies Bible Class, and Thursday Morning Class.

Budget and Finance Ministry Leader

The Budget and Finance Ministry is responsible for developing and maintaining the office records, supplies and tracking system. The Budget and Finance Ministry handles the following areas:​​ Accounting and Reconciliation, Annual Statements - Congregation Financial and Tax Records, Budget Control, Collection Offering Data, Bank Deposits, Building Program Contractors, Financial Records, and Financial Workshops.

Building and Security Ministry Leader

The Building and Security Ministry focuses on maintaining the upkeep of the worship facility. The ministry leader is responsible for assuring the facility is internally and externally maintained and safe. Opening and securing the facility, regulating the environmental controls, property inventory and building usage are also managed through this ministry.

​​The Building and Security Ministry handles the following areas:​​ Exterior Maintenance, Housekeeping, Janitorial, Pool Maintenance, Renovation & Repair.

Family Life Ministry Leader

The Family Life Ministry helps families create, build and strengthen their walk with Christ, and relationship with each other. The ministry operates with a commitment to establish Godly Family Ministries for the purpose of strengthening and stabilizing relationships in marriages, families and individuals, as well as addressing their physical needs through its Benevolence, Hospitality and Extended Services Programs. 

The Benevolence area is responsible for ensuring the charitable and orderly stewardship of funds (1 Cor. 14:40), as well as information and financial counseling to assist brethren in achieving “those things which are needful to the body” – (food, clothing, shelter, medicine, and utilities). 

The Christian Counseling area focuses on Recovery and Restoration; Grief; Marriage Matters; Parenting With A Purpose and Christian Life Groups. The goal is restoring and sustaining wholeness in the lives of all Christians, helping members achieve more satisfying and productive lives with their families, the church, the work place and the community at large.   

The family Life Ministry handles the following areas:​​ Christian Life Counseling, Congregational Benevolence, Grief Counseling, Hospitality/Flowers, Marriage Matters, Parenting with a Purpose, Recovery & Restoration, Service Extension, Small Groups and Care Group Ministry​​.

Fellowship Adult Ministry (F.A.M.) Leaders

The Fellowship Adult Ministry is designed to help adults build relationships and experience true Christian fellowship in a caring, fun, social environment. The ministry strives to connect as Christians to build faith through fellowship with a focus on saving souls for Christ through different outlets.

The Fellowship Adult Ministry manages the following events: Love & Modesty Banquet, Family Game Night, Movie Night, Bible Study, and Fellowship Activities.

Inreach Ministry Leader

The InReach Ministry organizes the established structure for new members of the congregation. The ministry develops classes and events to help assimilate new members. Also there is the strengthening and training of new Christians in the body of Christ. A process is established to introduce new members to other members of the congregation through new member’s classes and through small group discipleship.

The InReach Ministry handles the following areas:​​
Discipleship Contacts, Delinquent Members, Tuesday Men’s Class, Tuesday Women’s Class, Welcome Kits, Foundations of Faith, Fisher’s of Men Classes, Small Group Classes, and Small Groups Leaders Training.

Outreach and Missions Ministry Leader

The Outreach & Area Campaign Ministry functions as the focal point for congregational outreach. This work involves working with the community on joint projects such as Health fairs, back to school projects and keeping the community informed about the work of the church. New ideas with measurable goals in this area are strongly encouraged. All activities in this ministry will make optimum use of all members of the congregation in order for to carry out our purpose of “Saving Souls and Keeping Souls Saved.”

​​The Outreach & Area Campaign Ministry handles the following areas:​​ Area Campaigns, Evangelism Outreach & Supplies, Prison Ministry, Transportation, Missions, Radio Program, and Personal Contact Classes.

Executive Assistant/Women's Ministry 

The Women's Ministry is an integral area of church life that is responsible for fostering the spiritual growth of more than half the church population. Women's ministry strives to meets the needs of women in the church through classes, events, Bible studies and related activities. The ministry reaches women of all ages to ensure they are maturing in their faith and growing as women of God.​

The ministry goal is to support, enhance, encourage and edify all sisters through fellowshipping and adhering to the Word of God. The ministry strives to strengthen relationships with Christ by learning how to be effective servants of God as Christian women in God's kingdom. 

The Women's Ministry handles the following areas:​​
Tuesday Night Ladies Bible class, Women's Fellowships, Ladies Day Tea, Ladies Retreats, and Women's Counseling​​.

Worship and Devotion Ministry Leader

The Worship and Devotion Ministry organizes the established structure for congregational worship. This includes selecting the proper candidates and providing the required training for effective service. This ministry has several components connected with it such as ushers, audio/visual, communion preparation, song leaders, baptisms and more. The worship ministry is also responsible for overall worship environment of the congregation.

​​The Worship and Devotion Ministry handles the following areas:​​ Worship Coordinators, Ushers, Song Leaders, Baptismal, Nursery, Junior Devotion, Media Ministry, and Men's Training Class.
